I know I always comment about how life goes quickly and I’m sounding like a broken record, but this quarter has flown by. In about a week, I’ll be finished with everything and ready to graduate.

I spent most of today doing some Linux kernel hacking and writing a sound driver from scratch. It actually loads, finds the sound card, and doesn’t crash when I try to play or record now. Of course, nothing comes out of the speaker yet, but hopefully it’s just a matter of setting the right registers now to enable stuff…
